Understanding Data and its Potential for Solving Regional Economic Challenges
Economic developers are currently facing a number of different challenges. Along with ongoing issues, such as driving growth and identifying skills priorities, there are a number of newer ones, such as automation and Brexit, and our customers tell us that they want more insight into how our data can help provide solutions to these problems.
The Science of the Possible is a one-day forum seeking to address these issues.
With a number of presentations, plus interactive training sessions, attendees will come away with:
- A better understanding of how Emsi data is put together and how it can be trusted as the most complete, detailed source of Labour Market Insight on the market.
- A look at the potential offered by the data to provide solutions to both the ongoing and newer challenges faced by economic development teams in LEPs and Local Authorities.
- A look at the wider contextual trends influencing the economy such as technology and migration.
- A practical demonstration of how some of our clients are using the data to rise to these challenges.
With plenty of time for questions and for networking with personnel from similar organisations, this forum promises to be enormously relevant for anyone wanting to understand the science behind our data, and the vast array of possibilities it presents for solving the challenges you are grappling with.
